On December 31, 2022 members of the Ogdensburg Police Department responded to the 400 block of Oak Street, for the sound of a gunshot after hearing a verbal altercation. An investigation was opened which resulted in a search warrant to be executed on 418 Oak Street, Ogdensburg, NY.
The search into the aforementioned residence led the investigation to another address within the city. Upon further investigation members of the Ogdensburg Police Department executed a second search warrant into the residence of 309 King Street, where three guns were located and seized.
The said guns were a 9mm handgun, 20 gauge shotgun and an assault rifle.
The Ogdensburg Police were also assisted by the St. Lawrence County Sherriff’s Office along with Chief Confidential Investigator, Daniel Mousaw from the St. Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office.
