RICHARD G. LOCKWOOD CIVIC CENTER - 141 West River Street, 315-393-2111
Click here to see the Parks & Rec calendar.

The Richard G. Lockwood Civic Center officially opened to the public in January 2001. This multi-use recreation facility offers the residents of Ogdensburg and the surround communities a large range of activities and events throughout the year. Public and private skating is offered during our winter months.

The Recreation Department is offering three programs for the public at the Richard G. Lockwood Civic Center. The programs will be offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and will run every week for the remainder of the skating season.

Parents & Tots - 10:00 to 11:00 AM - This program offers parents the opportunity to bring their little ones to the rink to enjoy some skating without the hassle of large numbers and older skaters. Tots are children who are not in school yet.

Senior Citizens - 11:00 AM - Noon - We hope that senior citizens will take this opportunity to come to the arena and enjoy an hour of skating set aside just for them.

Adult Skating - Noon - 1:00 PM - How about getting in some exercise at lunch time. This is the perfect way to avoid the big lunches and enjoy some skating. If you have a day off during the week, this would be a great opportunity to get in some skating. Again, this is for adults only.
