The Director of Planning & Development Department is responsible for administering all activities under the City’s Federally- funded Community Development Block Grant program and
prepares grant applications for community development, historic preservation, recreation, economic development and marketing.
Staff support is provided to the Ogdensburg Planning Board, Ogdensburg Zoning Board of Appeals, Ogdensburg Growth Fund Development Corporation, Fair Housing Task Force and other City Departments as needed.
Primary responsibilities include preparing and updating the City’s Master Plan, Zoning Maps and Regulations, Capital Improvement Programs and Departmental Programs, policies and activities.
