With the switch to the City's new payroll software, All Active Employees now have web-based access to their payroll information through an Employee Self Service Portal. Information available begins with the February 2019 payrolls.

The web address and instructions on how to Log into this service and how to change your temporary password can be found below. Employees will have about two months to log into this service and change their password or the service access will deactivate for those who don't.

Additionally, most functions of this service are available, but you may find some that aren't fully active yet or we may not be using. For example, we aren't currently utilizing the time and attendance functions. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Employee Self Service (ESS) - Instructions

Can be accessed from: Computers, Tablets, Smart Phones

Web Address: ess.tyler-incode.com/ogdensburgny

Username: {firstname}{period}{lastname} 

Password: {pound sign}{Uppercase lastname}{last four of SSN} Example: Username: Richard.smith

Password: #SMITH1234

After logging in for the first time, change your password.

Password Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • 1 Uppercase letter
  • 1 Numerical value
  • 1 Special character
